Brummstadt Head Unit for Porsche Macan PCM3.1
I installed a Brummstadt Head Unit in my Porsche Macan. The unit itself works great with Appleplay and makes a huge difference modernising the old PCM3.1 system - it looks like a factory OEM unit. I did have an issue getting the factory rear view camera to work. Tommy ended up sending me a video of the menu I needed, the PIN, and what setting to change. Everything works perfectly now and I couldn't be happier with the result!

Works as described. Significant improvement on the OEM unit and looks like it is a factory unit. Great CarPlay functionality. All original sensors and buttons work - parking sensors, rear camera, steering wheel controls. I bought the DAB tuner but was discouraged from installing by the installer. I use the IHeartRadio instead and that provides stations from all over the world, album art, lyrics, etc. I did have a problem getting the rear-view camera to work. I lodged a support request and was sent a video on how to fix (it was a configuration issue for PAL vs NTSC video format). Very happy with the unit and the after-sales service.

Awesome!
Super happy with my new aftermarket head unit. It looks good, works well. Communication was top tier, Kevin is great to deal with! Lots of information regarding compatibility; quick, helpful and detailed responses. Nothing seemed to be a hassle. Highly recommended if you are needing a new head unit etc. It's best if you also provide plenty of photos and info on your car beforehand too - that way Kevin and the rest of the team at Brummstadt can make sure you are getting exactly what you need. 10/10

Setting up our unit required a lot of understanding to get everything working. Whilst it took us a few weeks to get everything working, this only occurred with the fantastic assistance from the guys at Brummstadt (Kevin & Tommy). A big thank you to Patrick and the team at Brummstadt. I had initially only reached out regarding a minor technical issue to which I received immediate and helpful support. Through the conversation, I had mentioned that I accidentally cracked the screens cover glass around the reset button and the Brummstadt team offered to replace the head unit for free. They provided paid postage details so I could return the unit with the cracked screen and provided a replacement new unit immediately. 2016 DM SantaFe superior Head unit.
I wanted a Brummstad head unit so I could use Apple Car and Apple Maps in my 2016 DM SantaFe Highlander. As this was optioned up I was particular to not want to lose any of the Highlander options, especially the awesome sound system. After a few delays with getting correct Canbus unit , the system is 100% working as promised. The trouble shooting staff at Brummstadt, especially Tommy and Kevin were extremely dedicated to my eventual success and complete satisfaction. All issues were respectfully resolved. I can thoroughly recommend these units and Brummstadt for their service.

When I got a new Iphone and it would not connect to the head unit I reached out to the technical support team, Even 5 years after my original purchase of the head unit they were still happy to assist. They provided the firmware update and instructions to get my system working with the new phone and helped out with a few adjustments that needed to be made following the update. Great back up

Keep trying, it will work!
Big Thanks to Patrick and service team at Brummstadt. After installing unit we had trouble getting the SWC to work. There are so many variation to consider with cabling and specific model and make of vehicle it seemed no matter what we tried nothing would work. After contacting the service team and some friendly back forth to collect information we got there in the end. Now everything is great and the head unit works exactly as I had imagined. Thanks!

Doesn’t get much better than this.
Not only is the product great, it works flawlessly and is super responsive with great graphics rendering. But the customer service was even better! I was having trouble down loading apps…
I was having trouble down loading apps and a couple of other things as l am not up with these new units. Contacted Patric who was the most helpful person and explained how to do it. He was excellent and replied straight away and followed up to make sure l got things going. The service was outstanding and would recommend buying from this company without hesitation.

The customer support is second to none
The customer support is second to none. Once you install and navigate the settings, the Brummstadt team are extremely prompt and helpful with guides and advice on adjustments. This alone is priceless and makes the product extremely good. Installed unit on 2016 SRT and fitment was very straight forward.

Great after market service
Great after market service . I chose to install myself and the crew helped me above and beyond . Tommy gave me very easy to understand instructions on how to program the OEM steering wheel buttons. Thanks again guys

Great Online Help!
Instructions in the box could have been better, but when I contacted the Online Help on a Sunday, I had a response in minutes (7 day a week support!!!). Patrick J was incredibly helpful, and he had my issue sorted or he gave me advice on what needed to be done. He also followed up over the next few days to confirm everything was working etc.

Great Customer Service
The customer service was really quite excellent throughout my whole process. After I accidentally bought the wrong unit they were extremely patient and helpful while assisting me with getting my return and refund sorted, and promptly sent the correct unit.
