We purchased the premium head unit upgrade kit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with the front and rear cameras, for our 2012 GMC Denali and couldn’t be happier. The unit and surround fit perfectly and look like they were factory-installed. Installation was relatively straight forward, and my partner was able to install it himself. We did reach out via email for a small amount of assistance, and the team was extremely helpful and quick to respond, which made the process even smoother. Everything works perfectly and the system has completely modernised the vehicle while still keeping an original look. Highly recommend both the product and the support provided.

Fantastic after sales service and technical support, a very special shout out to Tommy, who went above and beyond all expectations. I actually ordered and received the complete dash unit for my Mazda BT 50 over a year ago, I only recently got around to actually installing it, only to find that I had been supplied a DAB receiver for a different model. An email to the guys at Brummstadt, and they immediately ordered the correct receiver to be delivered to me ASAP. No questions asked. I finally installed the very modern looking touch screen upgrade unit, complete with TPMS, GPS, OBD2 scanner, Reverse Camera and Digital Radio today. It looks and works FANTASTIC! It has definitely brought my 360,000 km BT into the 21st Century. I would recommend anyone considering upgrading there older car to a modern, stylish in car entertainment/navigation solution to give the guys at Brummstadt a call. Top work guys!!
Amazing upgrade to Honda Jazz
The head unit fits perfectly to the Honda Jazz and looks amazing. A huge improvement on the plain original unit. Original cables were incorrect, and a fast replacement was ordered and sent from China. Support by Kevin absolutely amazing and showed a lot of patience with me to get the unit up and running as it should. Would highly recommend the unit and Brummstadt to anyone wishing to purchase and self-install. Installation was simple and straight forward, just the overall setting up by me, but with the excellent support in the background from Kevin and Tommy it is all now up and running. I cannot overemphasize the assistance given by Brummstadt. So good.

I purchased a Brummstadt Android wireless Carplay head unit for my 2019 Jeep JLU and received absolute 5-star support from Tommy, Kevin and Patrick. I was struggling with setting up the wiring and connections and Tommy went completely above and beyond. Not only did he walk me through the troubleshooting process step-by-step with incredible patience, but he also supplied additional devices at zero cost to help try and get the unit integrated. The customer service team's responsiveness and product knowledge are truly first-rate. I’ve never experienced this level of after-sales support in the car audio industry. Although this unit eventually did not integrate with my Jeep as promised and I had hoped, Brummstadt refunded my purchase in full. This company, and the people behind it, are highly recommended! I would buy from them again.

My experience was exceptional.The headunit for my 2018 Prado VX which I purchased on the 29/12/2025 fitted perfectly.It looks better than the factory Toyota original.The backup service provided by Patrick was second to none.I only had a couple of small issues which were quite frankly my lack of understanding with certain features.But Patrick was able to guide me through them with ease.Many thanks to the Brummstadt team.Love my new unit and would highly reccomend them. Great head unit to modernise an old car
I bought a head unit to replace an original one for our 2009 Honda. It was easy to order and arrived relatively quickly (noting it is delivered directly from China). It was an easy plug and play instillation. I referred to YouTube for instructions on removing my original headset. There were a couple of minor issues I needed guidance with and Tommy through the online messaging service was very knowledgeable and was able to point me in the right direction. The unit looks amazing in the car - it looks like it was always meant to be there.

Super happy with my new aftermarket head unit. It looks good, works well. Communication was top tier, Kevin is great to deal with! Lots of information regarding compatibility; quick, helpful and detailed responses. Nothing seemed to be a hassle. Highly recommended if you are needing a new head unit etc. It's best if you also provide plenty of photos and info on your car beforehand too - that way Kevin and the rest of the team at Brummstadt can make sure you are getting exactly what you need. 10/10
2018 MUX Premium headunit
Installationof headunit is fairly straight forward, however unless you are practical/technically minded, I would suggest getting help with it.Delivery was a bit slow but Kevin was diligent in follow up and ultimately did deliver on promises.Technical advice from Patrick is very good, accurate and clear when working through set up of head unit and apps. Email contact is frustrating when seeking support,as on multiple occassion their mailbox bounced back as it was full, adding days to communication process. Brummstadt management need to improve and implement competitive chat/YouTube type guides to better support their team and customers; matching competitors websites.The analogue AM RADIO will notwork due to poor aerial reception. Apparently ISUZU OEM unit operates AM/FM via integrated aerial and Brummstadt to date have not provided a solution to instal aerial alternative? You will need to buy the DAB+ kit to listen to these stations(works well), not that this will help in emergency in regional areas of Australia. The unit looks great, works well in metropolitan areas. For remote and regional Australia Starlink looks like a good idea for reliable internet.
I ordered a head unit for my Ram 1500…
I ordered a head unit for my Ram 1500 quad cab with the optional cameras. The package arrived about a week later. I installed the main unit without any drama. However I required a fair bit of assistance from Kevin to get the cameras and sim card set-up. The assistance I received was very professional and timely usually within one hour. The unit is now working as expected and performs far better than the original factory set-up. I highly recommend this product and Brummstadt
Head unit for 2016 Honda HRV
Just updated my head unit in a 2016 Honda HRV. Best move ever! Great size and look! Gives the dash a more modern look. Reversing camera still works well and I love all the additional features of this head unit. Definitely worth the effort. Initial purchase was smooth as silk and installation support was quick and helpful 👍👍👍

Setting up our unit required a lot of understanding to get everything working. Whilst it took us a few weeks to get everything working, this only occurred with the fantastic assistance from the guys at Brummstadt (Kevin & Tommy). They never gave up on us, and were always there to help with their knowledge and links to YouTube assistance. It is your continued assistance that puts you way above your competitiors. As for the head unit, we are extremely happy we made the decision to go with Brummstadt.

Through the conversation, I had mentioned that I accidentally cracked the screens cover glass around the reset button and the Brummstadt team offered to replace the head unit for free. They provided paid postage details so I could return the unit with the cracked screen and provided a replacement new unit immediately. Greatly appreciated and an amazing example of what real customer care and service looks like.
2016 DM SantaFe superior Head unit.
I wanted a Brummstad head unit so I could use Apple Car and Apple Maps in my 2016 DM SantaFe Highlander. As this was optioned up I was particular to not want to lose any of the Highlander options, especially the awesome sound system. After a few delays with getting correct Canbus unit , the system is 100% working as promised. The trouble shooting staff at Brummstadt, especially Tommy and Kevin were extremely dedicated to my eventual success and complete satisfaction. All issues were respectfully resolved. I can thoroughly recommend these units and Brummstadt for their service.
Brummstadt Head Unit for Porsche Macan PCM3.1
I installed a Brummstadt Head Unit in my Porsche Macan. The unit itself works great with Appleplay and makes a huge difference modernising the old PCM3.1 system - it looks like a factory OEM unit. I did have an issue getting the factory rear view camera to work. Tommy ended up sending me a video of the menu I needed, the PIN, and what setting to change. Everything works perfectly now and I couldn't be happier with the result!
prado head unit replacement
Bought a head unit for my 19 Prado and the unit was as advertised. The trim and fitting is like factory and looks nice too! Through my ownership of the head unit, I’ve had problems with the unit but after sales support is second to none. Tommy is quick to reply and provided step by step troubleshooting advice which fixed all the issues! Highly recommend these guys if you’re looking to upgrade your head unit to something nicer and with more functionality!

Ive had my Brummstadt Headunit in my Evo 9 wagon for about 5 or so months now and im really impressed with the quality and features that are included in the 9" headunit. But one thing thats impressed me even more than the unit itself is the actual aftercare. Specifically from Tommy in my instance, following up to see how the unit is performing. Not only that, when I brought up questions regarding functions, and trying to get ontop of a few teething issues, etc, Tommy was on the case straight away to resolve anything being discussed. When I got a new Iphone and it would not connect to the head unit I reached out to the technical support team, Even 5 years after my original purchase of the head unit they were still happy to assist. They provided the firmware update and instructions to get my system working with the new phone and helped out with a few adjustments that needed to be made following the update. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Great back up
The back up for installation was a main factor I selected this product and it has been excellent. Tommy was my main contact. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable with his timely replies to issues that occurred. Also back up by other team members was always helpful. The head unit is now functioning well. It is so important to send photos to them when requested for their diagnosis.

Big Thanks to Patrick and service team at Brummstadt. After installing unit we had trouble getting the SWC to work. There are so many variation to consider with cabling and specific model and make of vehicle it seemed no matter what we tried nothing would work. After contacting the service team and some friendly back forth to collect information we got there in the end. Now everything is great and the head unit works exactly as I had imagined. Thanks!

Good help from Patrick J and the support team. I replaced the head unit in my 2014 Mazda CX5 with the Brummstadt unit and needed some advice on configuring the unit to work with my Apple phone. It's all working, but I am still trying to get the switch from "native mode" to Apple CarPlay a little slicker.
